Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 2026
Stitch Cottage contains affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way.
How it works
An affiliate link is a tracked address that tells the shop the visit came from us. It is how a free guide site pays for the time it takes to count and test patterns.
What it does not change
- Which patterns are recommended: each one is counted and checked first.
- The order of a list: a higher commission never moves a pattern up.
- What we say against a pattern: limits are written down whether or not a link follows.
Where links appear
In pattern roundups, single-pattern guides, and articles that suggest a specific fabric, floss or tool. A notice about this sits in the footer of every page.
Compliance
This page follows the U.S. Federal Trade Commission guidelines on endorsements, and similar rules elsewhere. Questions about how we work with shops: use the contact page.
